The Search Is on for Secretary of the Faculty

Applications are currently being accepted for Georgia Tech's next secretary of the faculty. Appointed by President Ángel Cabrera on the recommendation of the Faculty Senate, the secretary of the faculty serves as a resource for faculty members and administrators regarding faculty governance. 

The secretary's duties include, but are not limited to, keeping minutes and records, accepting the Nominating Committee reports from the Faculty Executive Board, conducting the elections to fill faculty governance positions, and serving on the Institute Policy Committee.

To succeed in this role, the individual should have exceptional organizational skills and faculty governance experience, as well as a proven track record of dedication and service to the Institute.

Applications will be accepted from members of Georgia Tech's academic and research faculty through Monday, March 23, and can be submitted in confidence to provostsoffice@gatech.edu
