Up Close and Personal with the President

A handful of Georgia Tech students had the opportunity to be face to face with President Barack Obama during his address at McCamish Pavilion. Some of those students were selected to play specific roles in the event.

Senior business administraton major and reigning Miss Georgia Maggie Bridges belted out a stirring a cappella version of America's national anthem. Publicy policy major Jen Abrams was chosen to lead crowd in the pledge of allegiance. SGA President Dillon Roseen had the opportunity to meet his executive counterpart one-on-one before the address. Each of these students shared with us their unique experience of meeting the leader of the free world.
