On Feb. 3, Atlanta will host Super Bowl LIII in Mercedes-Benz Stadium. With thousands of people projected to flood into the city for the chance to witness — or even simply be near — such an event, Atlanta and the NFL have put together a series of events that will take place throughout both Midtown and Downtown in the days leading up to football's biggest game.
A full selection of events can be found here, though some of the highlights — and notes about traffic — are listed below.
Traffic and Road Closures
Road closures for Super Bowl LIII began Jan. 21 and will run through Feb. 8. The full list of closures can be found here. Anyone driving in and around the city should expect increased traffic in the days leading up to and after the game.
