Finalists Chosen in College of Computing Dean Search
College of Computing Dean Search
Four finalists have been chosen in the College of Computing dean search. As part of the final selection process, each candidate will visit campus and present an open seminar addressing their broad vision for the College of Computing. The hour-long seminars are open to all students, faculty, and staff. Interested individuals can attend in person, watch real-time via livestream, or watch a post-event video of each candidate presentation.
The finalists are included below in order of their campus seminar presentations:
- Charles Isbell, professor and executive associate dean for the College of Computing at the Georgia Institute of Technology, will present an open seminar on Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 11 a.m. in Clough Undergraduate Learning Commons, Room 152.
- Kathleen Fisher, chair of the Computer Science Department at Tufts University, will present an open seminar on Thursday, Feb. 21, at 11 a.m. in Clough Undergraduate Learning Commons, Room 152
- Radha Poovendran, professor and chair of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Washington, will present an open seminar on Tuesday, Feb. 26, at 11 a.m. in Clough Undergraduate Learning Commons, Room 152.
- Ellen Zegura, Fleming Professor in the School of Computer Science and executive faculty co-director of the Center for Serve-Learn-Sustain at the Georgia Institute of Technology, will present an open seminar on Thursday, Feb. 28, at 11 a.m. in Clough Undergraduate Learning Commons, Room 152.
