Athletics Director Added to President's Cabinet

President Ángel Cabrera has incorporated the position of director of Athletics, occupied by Todd Stansbury, into the president’s cabinet.

The 14-person leadership body is made up of senior administrators from academic and administrative units. Members include Institute vice presidents, division directors, and college deans. See the full cabinet.

“Athletics is an important part of the entire Georgia Tech community, and having the director of Athletics on the President’s Cabinet reflects that,” said Cabrera. “We welcome Todd Stansbury’s insights as we begin this more integrated approach.”

Stansbury, a Georgia Tech alumnus and former student-athlete, came to Tech as director of Athletics in 2016. The native of Ontario, Canada, played linebacker and special teams as a scholarship athlete for the Yellow Jackets under head coach Bill Curry. Learn more about Stansbury.
