Campus Events Celebrate Women’s History Month
Throughout March, events such as panel discussions, film screenings, and lectures will celebrate Women’s History Month across the Georgia Tech campus.
Women in Diplomacy: Lessons Learned on the World Stage
When: Tuesday, March 5, 11 a.m. – noon
Where: Highland Room, Exhibition Hall
The Sam Nunn School of International Affairs welcomes the Tech community into a conversation with Louise Blais, former ambassador to Canada’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations. Refreshments will be provided.

Navigating Title IX
When: Tuesday, March 5, 5 – 6 p.m.
Where: Rafael Bras Meeting Room, John Lewis Student Center
Registered student organizations are invited to chat with the Equity and Compliance Program's Assistant Title IX Coordinator Kendra Brown to learn about how the sexual misconduct policy affects them, what retaliation can look like, and resources and support.
ME Shaping the World Speaker Series: Women's History Month Panel
When: Thursday, March 7, 2:30 – 4 p.m.
Where: Room 4211, MRDC, and online
The George W. Woodruff School and the Women of Woodruff will host a Women's History Month Panel exploring what it means to be a woman in a predominantly male industry. Four Tech alumnae — Kelly Hon, Caitlin Leksana, Shay Natarajan, and Maegan Tucker — will share their experiences and offer lessons learned and tips for navigating the field. A graduate student, faculty, and staff happy hour will follow the event from 4 to 5 p.m. RSVP requested.

‘Barbie’ Movie Panel Discussion
When: Thursday, March 7, 6 – 9 p.m.
Where: Atlantic Theater, John Lewis Student Center
Join Housing and Residence Life and the Women's Resource Center for a night of Barbie-themed fun. The event will feature a costume contest, film trivia, and a faculty-led panel examining how the film advances the narrative on feminism and gender equity. After the film, attendees are invited to discuss its impact with student leaders.
All students are welcome to attend. Popcorn and other light refreshments will be served.
Women’s History Month Business Luncheon

Celebrating women who lead and inspire, Georgia Tech alumni are invited to attend the Women's History Month Business Luncheon Celebration in support of a nonprofit organization that provides resources to women in need.
Black Hair Storytelling Event
When: Friday, March 8, 6:30 p.m.
Where: Room 117, Smithgall Student Services (Flag) Building
Join the Women’s Resource Center and Black Culture, Innovation, and Technology for Black Hair Storytelling. All are welcome to join as St. Claire Detrick-Jules, author of My Beautiful Black Hair, talks about her book and participates in a panel discussion about the power and beauty of Black hair.
2024 Women’s Day Forum – DigitALL: Innovation and Technology for Gender Equity
Open to all, the annual Women's Day Forum, hosted by the Georgia Tech Women Alumnae Network, will feature keynote speakers, breakout sessions, a panel discussion, and networking opportunities. Speakers include Women in Technology CEO Heather Rocker, The Quadrillion President Debbie Phillips, Atlanta Ventures Partner Kathryn O'Day, and TEDxAtlanta President and iFusion CMO Jacqui Chew. All proceeds will help fund scholarships for Georgia Tech students.
Women's Leadership Conference
When: Sunday, March 24, Noon – 6 p.m.
Where: Exhibition Hall
The Women's Resource Center will host its annual Women's Leadership Conference on March 24. The community is invited to engage and explore how wellness and gender equity contribute to leadership. The theme of this year's event is the ‘Eight Dimensions of Wellness’ with guest speaker Beth Cabrera. All faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend.

March Madness: Trivia Night
When: Wednesday, March 27, 6 – 7:30 p.m.
Where: Multicultural Lounge, John Lewis Student Center
Support, Health, and Education (S.H.E) for Women will host a fun-filled night of women's health-related trivia, free food, and prizes in honor of Women's History Month.
Celebrating Women in Aerospace Engineering
When: Thursday, March 28, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Where: Historic Academy of Medicine, 875 W. Peachtree St. NW, Atlanta, GA 30309
Hosted by the College of Engineering and the Daniel Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering, this event includes a panel discussion and Q&A with NASA astronauts Tracy Dyson and Jeanette Epps. Following lunch, the Georgia Tech chapter of Women of Aeronautics and Astronautics will moderate a discussion with representatives from leading aerospace companies to share their journeys and advice as women in the aerospace engineering field.
