To maintain a reasonable number of ceremonies and ceremony length, Georgia Tech will begin hosting a single Institute-wide Master’s ceremony followed by individual College ceremonies.

The growing enrollment of graduate students has led to a marked increase in the number of degrees Georgia Tech awards each semester, which in turn has led to an increased number of Commencement ceremonies. To maintain a reasonable number of ceremonies and ceremony length, Georgia Tech will begin hosting a single Institute-wide Master’s ceremony followed by individual College ceremonies.

Master’s graduates are invited to celebrate together at Bobby Dodd Stadium, where they will be recognized by their respective Colleges. The Institute event will be followed by College celebrations across campus.

Ph.D. and Bachelor’s ceremonies will remain unchanged. Graduates will receive individual recognition at the Institute ceremony hosted in McCamish Pavilion. The Bachelor’s ceremonies will be ticketed.

Guests and graduates may share their feedback and recommendations through this short survey. Ceremony details for the Institute event and College celebrations will be released in early September.

Upcoming Ceremonies

Fall 2024 ceremonies will take place Dec. 12- 14, 2024. Ceremony times and ticket allotments will be published in early September.

Summer 2024 graduates will receive communications in June regarding Fall 2024 Commencement RSVP process.
