The Georgia Tech campus will play host to several events throughout the weekend, drawing thousands of visitors for a variety of activities Saturday and Sunday.

The Georgia Tech campus will play host to several events throughout the weekend, drawing thousands of visitors for a variety of activities Saturday and Sunday.
Those on campus should expect some congestion both on the roads and in parking areas. Additionally, some road closures will be in place for the Publix 2025 Atlanta Marathon on Sunday. There will be heightened security around campus and in high-traffic areas, and some buildings may have limited access due to event logistics and security measures.
Here’s what to expect:
Saturday, March 1
- Spring Reunion, hosted by Parent and Family Programs at various locations on campus.
- Atlanta Lacrosse Invitational at Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field.
- Ronald McDonald House Charities road race,with road closures near Tech Green and along the Pi Mile.
- WreckCon at the Exhibition Hall.
- Southeastern Energy Conference at the Klaus Advanced Computing Building.
- Men’s Basketball vs. NC State at McCamish Pavilion.
- Baseball Series vs. Western Michigan at Mac Nease Baseball Park at Russ Chandler Stadium.
- Softball Series vs. Stanford at Shirley Clements Mewborn Field.
- YMCA Swim Meet at the McAuley Aquatic Center.
- A-Town Showdown at the Ferst Center for the Arts.
Sunday, March 2
- Publix Atlanta Marathon: Multiple intersections on East Campus around Fifth Street and North Avenue will have hard road closures from 7 to 11 a.m. for approximately 8,000 runners.
