Apply for Education Assistance Now Through April 15

Eligible Georgia Tech employees can apply for summer semester tuition assistance now through April 15.  

Full-time faculty and staff have the following options: 

  1. The Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) provides a tuition waiver to full-time, benefits-eligible employees who have worked for at least six months within the University of System of Georgia.  
  1. The Staff Tuition Reimbursement Assistance Program (STRAP) provides partial tuition reimbursement at any accredited private institution. Employees are eligible for STRAP if they have worked for at least 12 months at Georgia Tech.  

Time worked in a temporary position does not count toward the eligibility requirement for either assistance program.  

Application Process 

  1. During their designated application dates, apply for school through the admissions office of the institution you plan to attend. 
  1. Open a TAP or STRAP application via the Administrative Services portal. 
  1. List the courses you plan to take. If you are not sure, put your best guess (you can request to change it later via your application).
  1. Submit your application. It will automatically route for approval. 
  1. Register for classes. 

Please ensure your application is submitted and approved by April 15 at 5 p.m. Applications received after this date cannot be honored. A new application must be completed for each semester by the deadline.
