Film Production Brings Temporary Disruptions to Tech Square

Georgia Tech will host a film production requiring intermittent pedestrian and vehicular traffic holds as well as parking lane closures near the Historic Academy of Medicine and the George Tower | Scheller Tower beginning Sunday, March 22, and lasting through Tuesday, March 24. 

Affected areas include: 

• Academy of Medicine exterior spaces, parking lot, and interior spaces. 

• George Tower | Scheller Tower exterior spaces, adjacent parking lot, and first floor event space. 

• Street parking closures on West Peachtree Street, Biltmore Place, and Fifth Street. 

• Intermittent pedestrian and vehicular traffic holds on Biltmore Place and Fifth Street (only on Monday, March 23). 

These temporary disruptions will occur at varying times, but expect the greatest impact to occur between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. on Monday, March 23.  

Please plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time. Signage and security officers will be on-site to assist.
