The stage will be set for Fall Commencement on Dec. 12 – 14.

This fall, in addition to campuswide ceremonies for all graduates, individual ceremonies will be held for master’s graduates from each College. The change was necessitated by enrollment growth during the past several years and a need to keep ceremonies to a reasonable length.

Master’s graduates are invited to celebrate together at Bobby Dodd Stadium on Saturday, Dec. 14, at 9 a.m., where they will be recognized by their respective Colleges. The Institute event will be followed by College celebrations across campus to recognize graduates individually.

Ph.D. and bachelor’s ceremonies will remain unchanged. Doctoral graduates will receive individual recognition at the Institute ceremony hosted in McCamish Pavilion on Thursday, Dec. 12. Tickers are not required.

The bachelor’s ceremony will take place on Friday, Dec. 13, and each graduate will be recognized individually and issued four tickets. Additional tickets may be available at will call the day of the ceremony, depending on the number of students who RSVP to attend.

All graduates will also have the chance to celebrate their accomplishments during Grad Fest Week, Oct. 14 – 18, as well as at the President’s Graduation Celebration.
