Generating Buzz: A Culture of Wellness at Georgia Tech
The fall semester is in full swing, and as assignments and tasks pile up, it’s a good time to remember that you should never be too busy to check in with yourself. Beth Cabrera, M.S. PSY 1993, Ph.D. PSY 1995, is a psychologist and author whose research into positive psychology has led to the creation of well-being strategies to foster leadership and organizational success.
Her latest book, Being Well, guides readers on a path to turn good intentions into lasting habits through lifestyle factors and environment shaping. For the past seven years, Cabrera has served as Georgia Tech’s first lady, leaving an enduring mark on the Institute’s culture and community through her focus on creating and maintaining environments that help faculty, staff, and students thrive.
Cabrera joined the latest episode of Generating Buzz to discuss how prioritizing wellness can have a positive ripple effect in different aspects of life.
